mad world - surviving africa

Monday, April 3

the weekend i realised that it is still adventure photography that i am drawn to most, with people comming in close second, but that might just be my male obsession with the female form ;)

Image hosting by Photobucketunable to participate since i am still recovering from my broken arm, i decided to get some pics at the sprint race at hennops. glad i went, as i was kind of between two fires, rather two covers, and did not feel like getting up early. lying in bed, browsing through a national geographic magazine i suddenly got a burst of motivation, and kitted up for the trip.

got royal treatment there, and was driven around to section i wanted to cover. this made me relize that the market might be strong enough to go on my own, and not the craig route. advantages with craig is the established name, the interaction with the race organizers that is all done for you... but then, the first will mean that my name never gets out there, and besides, interaction is my weakness.

so after getting all wet and muddy with my cam, and having loads of fun, i decided to stop thinking and dreaming, and that i should start doing.
